Kramer Project

When we started looking for a contractor to design and build a water feature for my home, we contacted several companies and Dennis with Legion Land Mgt. was one of them.  When we described what we wanted the design attributes to be, Dennis did a great job of listening and coming back to us with design options.  After some back and forth we settled one of the designs that Dennis had presented. The project got started and Dennis was always looking for ways to improve and refine the design.  He built a prototype to ensure the water would flow as desired from the granite rock span.  He brought in outside help to do the work he was not comfortable doing himself (cement work for the basin and framing work for the columns).  We ran into some supplier issues with some of the feature rocks we wanted to showcase in the basin.  At that time, my wife and I suggested a design modification and Dennis was more than happy to incorporate the changes into the construction of the structure.  He came up with some innovative ways to design the modifications and made them very functional and easy to maintain.  The COVID crisis set us back on our original timeline but Dennis and Will were always working to perfect the overall design and function of the system as they were building it including adding finishing touches that we did not asked for but Dennis felt would improve the look of the design.  He faced some challenges with faulty pumping equipment that had to be replaced but never gave up on finishing the project with a look and feel that met his standards.  We now have a one of the kind water feature that we are proud to share with friends and family who come visit our home.
